The retreat was amazing and if you weren't able to come you should definitely read through James. (J.J. this is aimed towards you) It talks a lot about not just saying "I'm a christian", but actually showing that. One thing that really spoke to me was that you need to have faith and deeds. If you have faith, but don't do deeds how will people know? If you do deeds, but don't have faith or believe in God then you aren't a christian. People think that if I say I'm a christian I am or if I act like a christian would I am a christian, but you can't. There is two parts to the equation- faith AND deeds.

Right on, Jeremiah! James is such a good book. I want to encourage you guys to continue reading through it. There's always new things to learn. Each time allow God to show you something you didn't catch before. May you continue to be challenged and grown in your faith as you live it out loud!
